Healing
intensives

A deep-time format for those ready to meet long-standing wounds with care โ€” and to move through them.

THE FORMET

What is an intensive?

An intensive is a single, focused container for healing work โ€” anywhere from three hours to four days, shaped entirely around you.

In place of the steady weekly rhythm of therapy, you set aside concentrated time to meet what is asking to be tended, with full attention and the unhurried space to let it move. Whether the wound is recent or long carried, current research shows this format delivers profound and lasting relief, often in a fraction of the time of weekly care.

THE APPROACH

A woven method

Each intensive draws on several modalities, braided together in response to what your nervous system needs.

i.

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing — a physiological technique that helps the brain metabolize trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, panic, and PTSD.

i.

Somatic Experiencing

Body-based work that releases the held energy of past events and offers living tools to track and tend your nervous system in daily life.

i.

Expressive Arts & Ecotherapy

Image, gesture, and the living elements of nature — gentle ways to integrate what is rising. No artistic experience needed.

INVESTMENT

“An intensive can be a threshold experience. My craft is the gentle loosening of all the ways we become bound, pretzeled, and held away from our heart-centered selves. Trauma healing is one path home to Self.”

JULIE ANNE STEIGER, SEP, LCSW

Julie Anne’s experience, knowledge, deep compassion, and warm optimism leave me feeling more joyful and connected to my body. She has helped me move through patterns of stuckness, fear, and depression I had carried for years. I couldn’t recommend her more.
