What to Expect

Initial Phone Consultation
We will talk on the phone for 20 minutes to help us figure out if this is a good fit for your needs.
If we believe there is someone better suited to help you, we will refer you to another qualified professional.

Before the First Appointment
Once an appointment has been scheduled, you will be emailed a confirmation along with an invitation to set up your Simple Practice portal.
This is where we will do all of our scheduling and your forms can be electronically completed.

The First Appointment
We typically spend 60 minutes together to review your expectations, discuss your therapy needs, and most importantly allow time for us to get to know each other and create a working relationship. We will review relevant past therapy experiences in order to create a treatment plan as our general guide. We will only work at a pace that promotes your stability, resilience, and that best supports your healing path.

Follow Up Appointments
Appointments are available at either 60 or extended EMDR sessions at 90 minutes. We will choose a consistent schedule to facilitate safety, reliability, and trust in our therapy process.
